Not really a contest tbh...

Coutinho vs eriksen would be a decent debate though

1. Ozil

2. Coutinho
3. Eriksen

Actually been underwhelmed by Coutinho in the first 3 games this season. Started off okay v Stoke before fading, thought he was poor v Villa and was part of a team on the defensive v Utd.

Coutinho v Eriksen? One has won multiple titles in Holland and been voted player of the season a couple of times. The other struggled in Italy before putting in a decent half season in England. At the moment there is little comparison, tbh. Eriksen has done a lot more in his career so far.

As for the future? Who knows. Coutinho has a couple of years on Eriksen to improve and show himself consistantly.

A better comparison between the three would be value for money.

Is Ozil for 42m better value for money than Coutinho for 8m?

Much tougher question

Wow, let's compare a £42m signing of proven world class talent to £8m and £11m signings of quality players with a lot of potential to become as good as Ozil.
Erikson vs Coutinho is a better question, but still they are different kind of player.

Great Article

Eriksen and Ozil are 4/5 years older than Coutinho.

He has the time to improve to be a better player than those two.

Ozil at 21 was far better than Eriksen and Coutinho, he is now streets ahead of them. I don't think either will ever reach Ozil's level, but they're both quality young players with good potential.

Ozil >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Coutinho > Eriksen atm.

Michu may have cost Swansea 11 or so times less than Suarez but I'd still rather buy Suarez.

In any case, roping in Ozil with those 2 is somewhat bizzare.

You don't support LFC, but you've watched all 3 of our league games?

Impressive dedication.
Do you only do that with our games, or do you do ittle else but watch football?

I wouldn't even compare those 2 to Marco Reus or Toni Kroos, nevermind Ozil. You could just about compare them to Draxler.

Here comes Sheriff, his cape billowing out behind him....

1) ozil by a country mile. Not only proven it in la liga but also champs league and world cup

2) eriksen- has played very well in a few champions league matches and is easily denmarks best attacking player at international level

3) coutinho- had a great 5 months at the start of the year but thats not near enough to overshadow the other two. Potentially in a few years time could easily be better than ozil and eriksen but needs to stay focussed and carry on with what hes doing.

How is eriksen 4/5 years older than coutinho? Both the same age lol

Coutino has the promise to be a world star in a the future, Ozil is more established, if not somewhat overrated in some quarters.
Watched him on Saturday, and he basically does the simple things well, but to listen to some, you would think Messi had rolled up into the premier league.
As for Eriksson, haven't seen practically anything of him, so can't really comment.
I'm more than happy with Coutinho, as Spurs fans are with Eriksson, and likewise Arsenal fans are with Ozil.
Wouldn't swap Coutinho for either to be honest.

No, Eriksen is 4 months older than Coutinho, both born in 92.

Gutted we didn't get Vertonghen last year, even more gutted we didn't get Eriksen this year. Am a big Ajax fan, and have been following these guys for years therefor.

Eriksen is a bargain, who would have improved our squad immensely.

Both Coutinho and Eriksen are quality, but not in Ozils league yet. However, who knows in 4 years time? People who say Ozil was miles better when he was the same age, should look at that old footage again imo, cause I think that's a slight exaggeration.

Ozil had 10 goals and 24 assists during his debut season at Real Madrid when he was 21. Could Eriksen or Coutinho do that?

Ozil is obviously the better player but Coutinho got 5 goals and 5 assists in 16 games for Espanyol at 19.

Kemlyn, unless I am mistaken all Liverpools games have been live on TV. I have watched all the live TV games this season I think, including yesterdays bore draw, and a lot more.

Imagine having Ozil, Eriksen and Coutinho behind a Sturridge or a Suarez or RVP.

That'd be worth watching.

Coutinho had 3 goals and 5 assists in his first 12 premier league games.
Ozil playing for Madrid, mostly against cannon fodder most weeks, and surrounded by world class players, isnt a fair comparison to most other players.

Blimey, are you planning to watch 154 games this year, "and a lot more"?

Do you have trouble adjusting to the light when you go outside to put the bins out?

Is it a foreign concept in Liverpool for pubs to have TVs that show the football?

First game was early kick off which i believe I watched at Dartfords Princes Park ground before the Darts played.
The second game was a 530 kick off which I watched at home after a day paintballing.
The third game was on the same day as the NLD which of course was watched in the pub.
Today i have been at work, so i hope you are not offended by me watching your team.
I may even watch your game on Saturday as I believe it is on Setanta, which is shown in the local Irish club, although I will be at Charlton v Millwall for an early kick off (meaning I will miss a live PL game)

Thanks for the concern but I get out more than enough.

No, not at all. Watch as many as you like.

Just curious about how much of your life you spend doing it, is all, but you've answered the question more than adequately.

Thanks for your time
