Why feel sorry for Shelvey?

He's terrible at football and yet somehow he's made it into the PL.

It was Sakho's fault, 3 bits of poor defending by him lead to the goal.

How are Liverpool so lucky?

Shelvey is a very good young player.

Sakho was part of a string of errors which lead to the goal. He did a lot of good too. To be expected in a first game for a centre back.

On the subject of sakho though: He gets his head on the ball well, but has been a little bit shaky.. his mistake didn't cost us the goal, it contributed, as did stevie facing the wrong way and jonjos tenacity and drive..

Sakho's not ready for our starting XI yet. Only through a bit of misfortune he's been thrown in the deep end whilst not being fully used to our playstyle.

He wanted to leave for first team football. Rodgers wanted him to stay.

Shelvey has shown exactly what he is all about in the first half, one moment good and two moments very poor, but he has ability of that there is no doubt. Laudrup wouldn't have signed him otherwise.

why did spurs sell Caulker? sold him cause the manager asked him look if you stay you will be probably be on the bench. Swansea are a great club and had offered a good amount for you, ill let you make the decision and he made it himself.

being a liability is the case with any young inexperienced player!!

He is also playing DM when he is a far better player further up the field!!

You know what it is. Liverpool play more decent football than us and most of the teams in the league. People wont admit this as its cool to hate Liverpool but watch them you'll see what I mean. They can actually string an attack together.

We're a mishmash of expensive talented players on paper who turn up one game for about 30 mins then dont turn up for the next two.

This isnt based on this season. The previous three seasons we have been playing crap football.
