Murphy is good. Carra makes some good points but takes too long to get there. Owen, Macca and James are crap. Savage is awful too.

I've not seen Sky coverage so I can't comment on that.

Humphrey is an excellent presenter on BT, McManaman is likeable and James/Hargreaves are quite insightful.

I absolutely agree about Halsey's role being pointless, but I find I can't be too vitriolic towards Michael Owen because if he's co-commentating, that means James Beattie isn't, and that can only be a good thing.

Mark Chapman as presenter of MOTD2 is excellent (he's long been one of my favourite people in the media), Murphy is insightful and I really do like Savage. Perhaps people let their opinions of him as a player blight their views of him as a pundit but I find him fairly interesting.

Savage is awful!

How the hell did THIS MAN get THIS JOB in THIS SPHERE?????????????? The term 'dumbing down' has a new title..................it's now known as 'Savaging'!
The mind boggles

I've not got BT so haven't seen it, but thought Humphreys has always come across quite well when I've watched him on BBC.

Murphy is alright, a steady Eddie. He'd be a regular 6/7 out of 10 if he was getting player ratings (if you get my drift?)

Carragher is decent, makes good points and again isn't totally biased. Isn't quite as refined as the main man Neville, and clearly hadn't thought through how to articulate his views on scholes vs gerrard vs lampard.

I don't mind savage as a pundit because a fair amount of what he says makes sense, it's just the person and the way he says it which makes him look like a clown!

Owen....... Why oh why is he a pundit? So monotone, makes Alan shearer look like the life of the party

Carragher has ruined the MNF analysis, he rambles on whilst waving his hands around and takes forever to get to his point, wasting valuable air time.

Having Carragher working alongside Neville is turning into the predicted recipe for disaster, as they engage in the inevitable Utd v Liverpool arguments and rivalry.

Neville`s analysis is clear, concise and to the point, which is in complete contrast to Carraghers (if you can understand any of it that is).

With Carra, I'm still in the "getting over his accent" phase. It's pretty irritating, and you're right, he does try too hard. I see potential in him but he has some way to go in matching Gary

Savage kind of lives up to his name as a pundit. Probably my worst addition to the roster

Haven't subscribed to BT Sport. If I am deprived of watching Spurs in HD however I may be forced to take the plunge.

I know he's not new, but I wish sky would chuck that fool redknapp over to itv and nick Dixon who's a good pundit

Carra was really good at the Euros, or was it the World Cup? Whatever, when he made those appearances on ITV I was pleasantly surprised.

Doesn't work with Neville though.

I think Carra and Neville will end up working well together, obviously Neville is the main mand and Carra needs to get up to speed with him and needs to get the experience, in saying that he will never be as good as Neville.

All in all I enjoy watching the pair of them. Havent really seen anything other than sky so cant comment on the others.
