Is it bad that I actually can't remember? I know I was 5 (or 6) and because it wasn't a one off game I can't really place it.

I've always had a feeling it might have been City but I really can't be sure because after my first game I pretty much went to every game that season.

My first United game was the Blackburn 1-0 in January 1995. Andy Cole's debut and famous for THAT sliding tackle by Giggs.

But I did go to a lot of AFC Bournemouth matches before then as I lived by the ground.

My first match was Millwall V Portsmouth at the Old Den in the early ‘90s and it finished 2-2 if I recall. It was a Primary School trip, The Old Den seems like an odd choice for a primary school trip, I was disappointed they didn’t have Stegosaurus pencil tops in the gift shop which was pretty much a staple diet for me on school trips at that age.

1990 Chelsea 1 Norwich 1.... Dennis Wise penalty at the shed end to equalise a Dale Gordon (remember the sidestep) opener.

Norwich had a decent side back then but my most vivid memory was even then realising the burgers were rank at the Bridge ha ha.

Pleased I just about attended a terraced game though the dog track/car park circling the ground meant I may as well needed binoculars to watch the game at 8 years old.

First game at a stadium was Plymouth Argyle vs Bristol Rovers, 1995, 1-1, attendance 6,743.

First time I saw Arsenal was at Elland Road in 2003. Arsenal won 4-1.

Never went to Highbury

Saw Arsenal at the Millenium Stadium vs Man U in 2003 and 2004.

First time at the Emirates was Emirates Cup 2008

Everton v Coventry in 1981 with my Dad. We sat in the Upper Bullens. I reckon that was what made support Liverpool.

Wimbledon vs Coventry at Selhurst Park (can't remember exactly which year, but would have been mid-late nineties). Finished 1-1 and Neil Sullivan played a blinder in goal for Wimbledon.

Chelsea v Stoke, 73/74 season, Hudsaon was playing for Stoke and took a lot of abuse, Langley scored for Chelsea but it was disallowed, we lost 1 nil and were relgated that season.

Tottenham at OT.

Cantona scored a 20 yard pea-roller into the bottom corner past Ian Walker. Also Schmeichel produced a bit of a worldy save from Andy Sinton.
Not the best game but 3 crucial points.

And I had a mint seat. The North Stand had just been built a few years before, and I had a seat on the front row.

The first game I can remember going to was the final game of the League calender of the 1990/91 season, when Arsenal were crowned champions. A crushing 6-1 victory over Coventry City with an Anders Limpar hat-trick being an extra special touch as it was my birthday and I fell in love with Highbury.

Chelsea vs Norwich. score was 4-0 and i saw a piece of skill from Zola that would make you cry. I was only 11 wasn't even a big fan of football let alone Chelsea.

That day I became a blue.

City v West Brom in 1978. City lost 3-1 and I think Cyrille Regis was a hattrick hero? I can't remember to be honest.
What I DO know is that I still have gristle in my teeth from my first ever pie that day
