Totally agree with you Decspur. Lamela did Parker like passes a lot, back and sideways, didn't run or take on a man, didn't run to by-line.
I'll hopefully see much better from him soon.

I'm not going to justify myself to you f. Ucking idiot. If I'm responding to my fellow spurs fan In regards to a player I have seen a few times then I will. I have nothing to gain by lying about it

I just realised...

The only thing I've predicted right this week (had 2 losing champs league bets fail) yet I went for Defoe 1st scorer 3-0 win and didn't put money on it..

I wasnt writing him off, its his first full game

Just would like to have seen him take on some players, he wont get to play against a poorer team all season.

Nerves and lack of playing alongside the Spurs players probably impacted Lamela to an extent, once he is confident I am sure he will run, dribble and shoot.

Lol calm down.

What games and what stood out? I dont see why you would go out your way to watch 6/7 Roma games?

Is Edin a fake Spurs fan?

4th, by the sounds of it he ain't mate. He's not stopped moaning the whole match thread.

Number eight, well I think your comments of " I'm not overly impressed with Lamela" somehow point to you writing him off

First I have heard of it AVB's

________

No it doesn't! Does that mean that if someone was impressive they'll be a ballon d'or nominee? Just means that he didn't live upto what he'd expected on TODAYS showing not a string of them

Don't sit here and call me a liar then you pr. Ick!!! Not that I have to justify myself to you but ok to make you happy.... A mate of mine is a big inter Milan fan. He has a dodgy box which gets all the games. Me and the misses usually go round my mates house with friends every so often and us boys usually watch a footy game on his box. As an inter fan he has put on Roma on a few times. I have seen Lamela about 7 times and couldn't give 2 s. hits wether you believe me or not

Fantastic for Eriksen to get a goal so early in his Spurs career.
Now what I'd like at the weekend is a open play goal for Soldado in the league, it would really boost his confidence too (if he lacks it at all). He doesn't half take a good penalty though!

Eriksen will adjust quicker than Lamela because he speaks English, has played plenty of European football and came from a similar league (albeit weak)

Give it a few months and Lamela will be pulling the strings

I thought Holtby had another impressive first half pulling the strings.

I got called a liar by Greatteams today, I love the way certain posters call other contributors liars without actually ever having met them. It does my brain in as well Don.

I thought he was very poor, yes I know he set up a goal for Defoe, but he seemed off the pace.

Lamela played well imo

I found Lamela interesting to watch he did look a little nervous, lost the ball quite a bit but he tracked back very well for an attack minded player. Looking forward to seeing him progress and grow with us.

By the way I will never mention Younes Kaboul again, three times I have said on here he is close to 100% then bang he gets re-injured. I am a horrific Jinx.
