Ramires/Mikel combo..............can that really work?
One can't pass straight and the other can't pass quickly.........appears like a match made in hell.
Lukaku should have scored again
ffs hazard playing again needs to be dropped. would have liked kdb playing.
"One can't pass straight and the other can't pass quickly.........appears like a match made in hell."
Yes it did, but that was a needs must scenario , i thought we were supposed to be playing beautiful football this season...
Hazard should have been benched
praying for a win today
if mvg name was lampard he would have been playing today
He'd be sitting on the bench if his name was Lampard
MVG was facking dire on Wednesday
i'd have liked t see Willian start over Eto'o
Jose in on a mission, he has accepted it, hope he does not self destruct in ten seconds
Willian start over Eto'o
meant Hazard
I just can't see how the midfield two are going to link with the midfield 3 with that line up, unless Ramires is going to break through the first line of oppo midfield
How dare Luiz be one of the best players on the pitch against Basel. Drop him, drop him immediately!.
How dare Luiz be rested after playing our last 3 games, run him in to the ground, run him into the ground immediately!
To have neither on the bench when they are both potentially game changing players is a massive statement of intent
Terry said last week how Jose has got the dressing room back as one.......................i personally don't see how that can be the case now
The Mikel Ramires partnership worked well with RDM in the period we were playing great football last season. It was the Mikel and Lampard partnership where we were playing some crap slow football. I'd rather see Ramires play his Rambo role than be oppressed when played next to Lamps TBH.
Would have liked to see Willian start over Schrulle.
Anyway I think we will win comfortably today, it's all been a storm in a tea cup this week. 3-0 to us.
feck sake Mata not even on the bench

Good point, it is what he is best at..
"How dare Luiz be rested after playing our last 3 games, run him in to the ground, run him into the ground immediately!"
3 games spanning 3 weeks. How are we supposed to achieve any sort of consistency if we drop performing players and rotate on policy rather than merit.

Chelsea v Fulham (1730 BST)
Samuel Eto'o retains his place up front for Chelsea for the visit of Fulham, while Juan Mata and David Luiz are not even in the squad as boss Jose Mourinho makes five changes to the side beaten 2-1 at home by Basel in Europe.
Ramires returns from suspension alongside John Obi Mikel in a new-look central midfield, John Terry is back as captain and Andre Schurrle will start out wide, with Frank Lampard and Willian dropping to the bench.
Fulham boss Martin Jol makes three alterations to the side that drew 1-1 with West Brom. Darren Bent replaces the injured Dimitar Berbatov up front, with Fernando Amorbieta and Damien Duff both drafted in.
