On the subject of QPR do you remember the days that we used to swamp their ground also?
I particularly remember a night match there in '79 when Chelsea had both the School End and the Loft in its entirety and Chelsea fans were singing "Can you spot the Rangers fan?"
They were all in the seats on the sides of the ground.
What struck me most was the absurdity of their pathetic chants.
Here we have a club who can't fill their meagre allocation of seats despite having to travel a mere two miles up the road from their subuteo sized proportion ground.
To be as classless as they appeared, casts doubt over their memories. If you are going to set yourself up for ridicule in that manner, you need to be sure of your facts and be squeaky clean yourself, as fans who go back a long way such as some of us here will well remember where we were when we were $hit.
Normally taking their ground over when they were even $hitter than they are now and pulling in attendances as low as 2,000 in on a regular basis, while we were capable of attracting crowds of 20 to 30 times that amount.
They'll be swapping places with QPR in the summer me thinks
