StubHub Update

It's a really good system if people just sell to get value of the ticket back.

I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that a couple of other teams use StubHub Everton being one, and they impose a cap on it so you can't screw people over.

The other worry is that the club will use this to see what people are willing to pay then up the prices

That was essentially TicketExchange.

Wasn't broke, well and truly fixed now

I emailed the club about this, they have blamed the fans for the increased prices

I've seen fans on Twitter boasting about making loads of money

It's a joke

It just needs a cap. Badly. And it's the club that can impose that.

To be fair, Spurs Chelsea sold out in 40 minutes. Tickets are in high demand still and people will money for a ticket.

End of the day, if you wanted a ticket you should have queued and phoned like the rest of us. Not complain 5 days before the game that prices are high for one of our biggest games of the season.

Apparently it was a record time sell out for a game at WHL

It's not that Doovde, it's the fact this touting system has replace the Ticket Exchange, which is a joke

Yeah I know it's a joke, but at the end of the day someone will pay big money for a ticket so it'll always be done.

the result will be (while we have limited capacity) that no one will give up their season ticket.

You could attend no games, sell most games at face value and the bigger games (Utd, City, CFC, Arsenal, Liverpool, WHU) at £40-50 profit and end the season £200 - £300 in profit having attended no matches!

I couldnt make the Swansea game, listed it for face value (still £9 more after charges) when most were another £10 more expensive at least. My ticket sold in literally seconds.

I cannot make WHU, am i a mug if I listed it for the £48 face value when I could probably make £50 profit?

You could sell your ST three times at £150 a pop and almost make your money back, that;s the logic

I'm just amazed that anyone is stupid enough to pay the vastly inflated figures ... If you're that much of a fan, buy tickets when they're on sale to members ! Madness.

Devon

I'd stick £20-30 on top of my ticket, covers any cost and makes a small profit, I don't expect to see fans sticking the ticket up for £200 a pop, fleecing your own fans

It's also strange that only ST holders can sell their tickets and not members ... Change from last season

I am a ST in the lower shelf. I know my ticket could easily make a profit but I wouldn't dream of it. I only wonder if touts would buy the ticket to sell on for the bigger games. That would bother me.

For £1200 you can pay for a full Sky+ annual subscription + HD + Multi Room + BT Sport and have change to spare. Madness !! Not quite the same atmosphere but will keep you happy for many hours.
