I thought he was decent at Villa. He's been crap ever since he left.

I don't really watch Young play for club football, just stare in utter disbelief that he gets in our national team.

The only mitigating factor I can think of, could it be a fitness thing? He seems to have suffered with a lot of injuries maybe it's taking time to get back to a level?

I remember his first couple of months at Utd he looked the real deal. At least on MoTD highlights.

i dont get why Zaha isnt given a shot. Paid alot of money for him and refused to loan him out, I though he would feature alot for united the season.

Oh, didn't realise it was that short lived!

With the wages he's on (someone said £130k pw!) you might have to loan him somewhere in the hope that he plays himself back into form.

Either that or ask West Ham very nicely to take him. Worked for us with Cole, Carroll and Downing....

Now you see why so many Utd fans are in disbelief at how he continues to get games. We have an outstanding young player in Januzaj he really is amazing !! he could do no worse than Young even if he played badly he'd still offer more.

Young is a good and talented player but is just too inconsistent. You could play him against Real Madrid and he'd probably do well but then play an awful game the following week against Stoke. And vice versa.

I'm losing faith in him after yesterdays performance when we needed something, ANYTHING from him!

Moyes will always opt for experience over giving youth players a chance. Barkley wouldn't have featured this season, with Martinez he has started every game, and been called up to play for England.

Moyes would have coaxed Neville out of retirement before giving a young lad a chance.

Young actually put three or four crosses in yesterday, they were so high and close to Hart i think my 7 year old daughter wouldn't have too much trouble claiming them.
