One of Everton's best players was Duncan Ferguson

==

Big Dunc was a cult hero. A shining light in years of terrible players.

But to say he is in the same company/quality as Ball, Labone, Latchford, Sharp, Southall, Ratcliffe....Hmmm

I like Everton, good traditional club, roots in the community. Always try and get to a game if they are at home when I am in Liverpool.

The above supporter is a phanny.

Certain to be a fan who thinks football began with Sky and the Premier League.

Says it all

Ferguson was a Rangers reject.

We were signing Brian Laudrup and Paul Gascoigne in their prime around that time.

Celtic were signing Paulo Di Canio

Your shining light in those years was Duncan Ferguson

Who care which players you signed...

To say Dunc was anything other than a cult hero is crazy.

A Rangers reject? Whatever you say fellas.

The guy who chirped on about or CL performances.....remind me again which european trophy you have won, its the same we won.

Then never had a chance to compete in europe due to uefa and thatcher making sure English clubs were banned

Rangers can go unbeaten, I'd like to see the odds on it.

There are a few teams gone unbeaten in the league in a season other than Arsenal. Porto have done it a few times recently, Juve the other year and the brilliant AC Milan team in the early 90's..

Dont be so stupid, it's a difficult ask but try!

UEFA should be blamed for holding the final at a ground not fit for second division football and Thatcher using it as an excuse to try and cut football hooliganism here in the UK.

As for making a semi or being a losing finalist....is that something to shout about?

Calling people "stupid" and telling them they know nothing about football.

I like you. I told them the reason for the English ban. If you think it was caused by/the fault of Liverpool fans then feel free to let them know.

im pretty sure liverpool fans charging and attacking juventus fans was the real reason for the disaster and subsequent ban

not how $hitty the stadium was

stop being an apologist.

So I was firm but fair in saying that UEFA/thatcher were to blame for our lack of European football and leave it at that

And I never even got round to last nights football results.
