Oh we play you on Saturday?

I want a return to Wembley.
Totally agree, we must get through tonight. Winning trophies is what its all about and its been too long since we last won some silverware.
We will still field some top players like Holtby, Lamela, Chiriches, and Sandro.
Id like to see Zeki Fryers start aswell and see what he can do.
Not sure if Kaboul and Defoe will be fit. Hope so.
Im sure that the sponsorship deal we have in place with AIA will ensure that we take all cup competitions seriously.
Not much point having a separate cup sponser and then fielding a weakened team which may get knocked out.
Wont exactly look good will it?

Don
I agree. And apart from the odd banter reason with my mates, you wont hear "its only the Mickey Mouse Cup" from me if we get knocked out.

Will the game be replayed if it's level after 90 minutes?
================
No, it has to be settled on the day.
This has got ET and pens written all over it...
Holtby and Sandro should be more than a match for whoever Villa play in CM.
Townsend to give us that direct running and width on the left, and also extra cover for Fryers at LB.
Lamela on the right given that licence to get inside and support Sandro and Holtby, and Walker overlapping.
Defoe up top (Soldado if unavailable)
Brad and Younes the experienced heads at the back.
The only worries are Chiriches' debut, Fryers at LB and Kane through the middle. I think we'd have enough proven quality in that side (and legs) to see off a weakened Villa.
HRH,
I think Kaboul and Defoe are injured.

Don - are you going?
By the sound of it nowhere is showing it.
Do we have any actual team/squad news?
"Do we have any actual team/squad news?"
Far too early for SpursOfficial.
AVFC Official will be probably send out the Spurs squad first.
No HRH not going tonight mate. Will try and watch it on stream. Everything seems a bit quite on the news front. I guess we will find out soon.
Friedel (c), Walker, Chiriches, Vertonghen, Fryers, Sandro, Paulinho, Lamela, Holtby, Kane, Defoe.
3 out of 11.
If Kaboul was fit he'd have started with Chiriches.
That's essentially the team I would have picked barring Townsend for Paulinho
