I quite like the defensive side to PES, HMNIG.

I've seen a few people talking about how this FIFA seems to be based around passing.. in my opinion the passing is the worst that I can remember from FIFA for a long time.

The first touch system is extremely dire. My playing style is based around solid defending and quick passing movements (one of those guys who'll play 5 at the back) so FIFA really doesn't suit me now. Fast players (rightly so) imo should be notably faster than slow players, however it should just be a little more difficult to manage utilizing those players.

Fifa is a total scam to be honest but I'll still buy it as I play online a lot. Ultimate team is pretty good but the only reason I liked the last one was I got a blue Fellaini worth 300k (I think) and spent that cash on the team. Don't understand people spending actual cash on the team. Feck that.

not overpowered but they are back

it's not ridiculous like in 12 when every single one of them goes in, but it's not like 13 when none go in.

think it's a happy medium now i've tried it a few times but none went in and one hit the post. some guy did curl one in against me yesterday but that was postage stamp top corner

Probably not from 30 yards Ludy but plenty from out of the box. One of the most effective ways to use it is to swing it to the opposite corner. I find I score a lot that hit the post first that way. I agree it's far different from 12 where they were too easy to score with but once you get the hang of them they're very effective still

Anyone played career mode as manger? Don't know what I'm doing scouting.
I like the way they made it easier to save games etc it's a lot more streamlined.

What is the scripting like in FIFA 14? That's the biggest fault with FIFA games. Totally ruins it for me.
