How come you watch a lot of Chelsea's reserve team games. Do you go to them?
I watch a lot of football in general. Usually nip on line and watch em, it's pretty easy to find at least highlights. I watch almost all of ours though, and if Ravel sorts his head, he's the next Gazza
BillyBob, maybe if you weren't so dismissive as well we could all have a valid debate but no.
There watching a lot of football in general on line, and watching Chelsea's reserve team games. Only the most dedicated of Chelsea fan would do this, surely.
And when you say Gazza what do you mean?
:s I'm a united fan mate...

I don't believe you!
Your claim that 'every' (your words not mine) Chelsea fan that you speak to tells you that the lad is going to be the best there has been for years is frankly unbelievable to me. You have diluted your argument by admitting that the Liverpool comment was fabricated, with this in mind, why do you expect anybody to believe anything else you have said? You stated that you lied about the Liverpool fans because of their 'delusion', yet you also stated quite early on in your article that the Chelsea fans suffer from 'delusion'...so what are we to believe from you?
Not much else to say really...!
Oh, you forgot to answer how you 'know' that the lad will not be better than Scholes...
And Gazza as in fantastic on the ball, can run past players like they arent there and thrill and amaze spectators with the most outrageous pieces of skill that no one expected. He's got demons like gascoigne though that he needs to beat. Gazza couldn't :/
I think its an incredibly blinkered view to have. Ive seen a bit of McEarchran and he doesnt look out of place. Same with Robinson and Flanagan at Liverpool, both young lads playing tricky positions but theyve not put a foot out of place.
Utd have a fantastic track record of bringing young players through but I feel the OP is ridiculing the examples he's given simply because they don't play for Utd
I'm a united fan mate...
OK, if you say so. Not many United fans I know watch Chelsea reserve games on line... but whatever floats yer boat.
Yes Gazza was a great player. Ravel could be too if he grows up a little and gets away from Manchester.

OK then, Paul Scholes is a talent the likes of which cone along so rarely that there's a general feeling among the greats of the sport that, in his position, he was one of the best EVER. The best player in his position today has stated on many occasions that he's not a patch on Scholes at his best. I never directly said McEarchran will not become as good as Scholes was, though frankly I think it's safe to say no one on this thread thinks he will.

Shut up. :/ I'm a united fan, and because I watch some Chelsea reserve games doesn't make me less of one. I watch pool, arsenal and city games too. I must support them all!
I don't not believe you.
I sometimes watch Liverpool, Arsenal and City games too when they are the telly. I watch MOTD and Sky games when I am at home.
But its unusual to watch their reserve games too. No point in denying this.

I'm not arguing about Scholes' ability, i was simply asking how you 'knew' that McEachran would not be better than him! You intimated with a failed smiley that you thought this idea was absurd, well that's what i presumed you were trying to say anyway...
...what were you trying to say out of interest?
Were you trying to say you 'think' this rather than 'know' what will happen in the future? If so, is that not exactly the same thing that ALL the Chelsea fans ALWAYS do when speaking to you, i.e. just having an opinion of what may happen?
I think that he will be better than Scholes, I have based my opinion on nothing but a pure guess as I cannot predict the future...what are you basing your opinions on again?
Well then redblack, don't believe me. I've no reason to care have I?
