Not disagreeing with you regarding Mourinho being hypocritical but why the hell did Veronghen roll around on the floor like he'd be shot??
I cant stand diving regardless of who it is, Suarez, Bale, Torres, Rooney etc. Any diving should be condemned and Vertonghen dived.
You need updating OP, Jose never cried over Man U job. Any other story put out from Spain trying to discredit him.
Vertonghen is a disgrace as are many others. Drogba for all his antics never got anyone red carded
All footballers dive its just part of the game now days. Torres actions with his hand should have been a straight red regardless, and I hope he is punished by the FA .
If Torres is punished by the FA over his hand to the face incident, then Vertonghen must be punished for his blatant play acting too.
Fairs fair.
Jose is right verthogen like most modern day footballers is a disgrace
He's either deluded or got a very short memory. Before reading these I'd like to point out that I don't condone simulation/play-acting etc whoever is doing it and vertonghen has appeared to have milked it, but the incident should never have taken place as Torres should have been sent off before then:
I seem to remember the Celtic fans/players/management complaining about how the Porto players were diving all over the place in the 2003 UEFA cup final.
Had serial divers robben and drogba as key parts of his Chelsea team.
An inter Milan team containing the likes of materazzi, cordoba and Samuel were surely well-versed in the arts of gamesmanship/simulation.
Real Madrid were like the Greg Louganis school of diving during his tenure, di(ver) Maria, ronaldo, pepe, marcelo and arbeloa are all prominent graduates. Nothing like a bit of eye-poking either just to show your players how to behave.
Back to Chelsea again, David luiz, hazard, Oscar (the clue is in the name) and the old favourite cashley cole (not foreign is he?) who can all put tom Daley to shame.
So there you have it, Jose moronho's teams are littered with divers and cheats over the last 10 years and he's more than benefitted from it, so maybe the obnoxious one might want to keep his mouth shut in future before he starts trying to tell the premier league what to do. Two-faced pathetic little

This should have been punished if that;s your logic
Torres only reacted when verthogen did that shameful act of play acting to get Torres booked though I agree a push by Torres would have been enough as a reaction to that disgraceful act by verthogen
Wasn't though, the intent of Torres sent Vertongen down to the floor, he didn't roll around did he? sat up, and put his hand to his face,
Anyway it was a red and deserved for a two bob player!
If im being fair then I think both Torres and verthogen deserve a suspension so that they do not repeat their acts in future
Thudd are you saying Luiz should be punished for receiving a kick in the back of the leg?
Calm down you're ruining the post with this bias
Only difference there Thudd is that contact was actually made with Luiz. Vertonghen did not get touched by Torres, yet he was on the ground clutching his face for some time.
Torres should have been sent off earlier anyway, so you could argue it was justice but Vertonghen should be given at least a fine for what he did.
Torres didn't even touch him when he faked that dive for Torres's first card
Hardly bias is it? he jumped up and held his leg, and then smiled at the camera? that's disgusting in itself
Verts did nothing wrong, he won the header fair and Torres jumped into him sending him down, that's dangerous play, could have fallen and injured himself
Didn't hold his face on the floor, didn't roll around, just sat up, I thought it was harsh but blame the ref not the player
While we're at it we should give ashley cole a retrospective ban for his pitiful attempt at winning a penalty at old Trafford. If we want cheats punished then let's get all of them
Historically Chelsea have had the worst divers and play acters in the last 10 years
Don't thrown stones in glass houses Jose

That happens so much in a game its not even funny. Its not a card, its not a sending off, its at best a foul. If you play football then you get at least 3 of those a game. Vertonghen did clutch his face and was lying on the ground. He made an absolute meal of it and should be punished.
You are right that the ref should also get blame though. When are we going to have performance reviews for refs????

Can't disagree with that.
Wow what length will you spuuuuds go to defend the shameful play acting by your players
Thudd as has been pointed out Torres didn't touch Vertonghen. He also did not trip him in the incident which led to Torres dig his fingers into his cheek for which he should've been red carded.
Really like debating with opposition fans to get your perspective. If you honestly believe what you say here then I'm wasting my time
Spu-ds?
Hardly an insult, makes you sound like you're 12 years old
When Torres landed his head hit verts , that's why both players were holding there heads.
no defence for vert 'making the most' of the foul....
but ZKB jose can take a fair share of the blame for the modern day gamesmanship in the prem......
he will/does encourage him team too stretch and push the limits to gain the advantage....
