The fact that we haven't played united, chelsea or city doesn't mean anything.

West brom and villa both beat the Manc clubs yesterday so it kind of out puts that argument to bed.

Napoli will be a real test. Under Benitez they look very dangerous and I expect that game to be our toughest to date.

As for west brom, I agree, could be a tricky game now as they will be on a serious high after winning at old trafford

Tough game at West Brom but still pretty much winnable even with our thin squad.
The Napoli game is a different story

Napoli will be your toughest game to date. Benitez is a tactical master at these European encounters and Napoli look real solid sitting top of Serie A.
Going to the Howthornes stadium won't be easy either.
Clarke really doesn't get the credit he deserves. He was much a part of Chelsea's success as Mourinho was back in the mid 00's.

It will be interesting to see how Arsenal's young group cope with going to Naples as well.
The stadio San Paolo has to be one of the most intimidating grounds in Europe. Football is a religion in Naples.

I'd rather a draw in Naples but 3 points at the Hawthornes. We can make up in Europe but I want us to keep our league momentum going.

Wumpatrol, the Tuesday game is at the Emirates.

I agree, it I had a choice I would rather have the 3 points at west brom and settle for a draw on Tuesday

We play them at home on Tuesday! The return fixture in Napoli won't be until December. By that time, there won't be any youngster in our squad. We should have everybody back apart from Diaby (assuming of course no more injuries until then.

To be honest I didnt think you guys would beat Swansea away, thats a really good result for you guys. Plus Spurs and us drawing and City and United losing, I dont think there has been a better week for Arsenal in PL history.

I'm confident about WBA. We won a psychological battle on Wednesday. I know they made lots a changes as well but still now theirs players have to get ready to face the like of Özil, Ramsey, Wilshere and co. I'm not sure they are really looking forward to it tbh.

This about to change
September is almost over and there will be the awards for the players and manager of the month. Surely we deserve both and we all know that once you get that award, It just jinx it
Although AVB seem to be appreciated by pundits and journos! So he might get it.

We beat West Brom's 2nd string with our 3rd string side. Will that affect the first team's thinking when they come up against the likes of Ozil and Giroud?

Psychologically I think it gives us the edge
