Mountains and molehills. Otherwise known as desperate to get a dig in, no matter how lame....

Term read through my back posts if you want. I enjoy a bit of banter but when it comes to that paper I am firmly on the side of liverpool ( as in the city, even the club if it comes to it)

1) does it really matter what newspaper an interview is given to? I mean really?

2) rarely do players actually give interviews to newspapers. Fact. Questions are sent from the interviewer by email to the agent, filled out the parts they want answering and sent back. Or, the interviewer calls the club and the spokesperson answers on their behalf.

I'm bored with Suarez controversies, tbh.
I backed him over the Evra incident because I thought the case against him was ludicrously flimsy, and I still think that. (When I read the report, I was shocked at just how flimsy it was). I don't believe I backed him over that just because he played for us....I just thought it was wrong.

And the witch-hunts against him were pathetic and emotionally incontinent...the ref at Mansfield did not deem his handball to be deliberate, so no offence was committed, and the reaction to it was hysterical.

But I lost patience with him over the biting, the handball against Southampton, and the dive against Stoke. They're relatively trivial incidents in themselves, and they've been committed by plenty of other players without any fuss, but he knew the context in which they would be judged by a hysterical Press, which made them doubly stupid.

So when he agitated to leave, I wasn't all that bothered, and I'm no longer all that bothered by anything else he does.

To be fair to him, he's always been passionate and committed on the pitch, and I've always enjoyed that, so if he gives us another season of it, that's fine.

It's unlikely that he'll be here beyond that anyway.

That is fortunately his character. Once he plays he is that determined to win he does not have it in him to sit back and not do anything. He will not sulk on the pitch. For however long he is playing he is playing to win. Thats what he knows how to do.

And to be honest, when he dives vs stoke or his handball against mansfield, i would like to think he is not thinking about the press he may or may not get. That should be the last thing on his mind.

Been called worse, just felt because I highlighted this story people ( maybe I have misinterpreted) think I am on the wum, but some things are beyond wumming)

posted on 29/9/13

I don't think you were on the WUM. I think you were happy to believe the tripe posted in a below the gutter website and hoping to see Suarez get ripped to pieces after you sowed the seeds. It didn't work but there's always next time.

But its a credited to the sun newspaper apparently written by one of there reporters. If its true, then yes suarez has been a silly boy. Me and my dad were taking about it we mentioned rooney and sounes giving interviews to the paper and how they were worse imo

Another Suarez faux pas. And yet some people STILL defend him. Unbelievable!
