Anyone notice that the BBC live text has just become a forum for bashing Chelsea in recent weeks?
True gazza
I do like how he presses and defenders seem notably panicky when he is on the ball
I do slate Lukaku a bit on here, the reason I do is because I'd love him to be our number 1 striker and be the guy we can look to lead the team from the front... I just have a bad feeling he may... not be that man
good assist and finish from Barkley
Horrendous marking from mbiwa

I told you! Ross Barkley is looking really good.
I don't want to take anything away from Lukaku. But this is one of the worst defensive performances I have seen.
Lukaku has had little to no pressure when on the ball, especially when his back is turned to goal.
Torres would've missed that
He's like Torres but he can play football
I really hope he gets a hat trick tonight.
Must be bitter-sweet for Chelsea fans.
TCP Thought exactly the same!
Another offside goal
Newcastle are trash
I've got both Lukaku and Jagielka in my dream team and if he gets a hat trick and Jagielka keeps a clean sheet i will move back to the top of my works table.
one assist, and he has now put the ball in the net 4 times.
looks pretty handy. maybe we should try and sign him in january?
I have got Lukaku, Barkley and Miracles. 3 goals, 2 assists.
Already running away with it due to Rambo and YaYa tho.
HALF TIME
Lukaku 4 - 0 Newcastle
2 disallowed goals for Lukaku so far.
odds on him getting his hattrick 3-1
Good week to put Lukaku as my captain
My iPad always changes it to miracles so I just leave it, sometimes suits him.
he's had the ball in the net 4 times in this half, he just looks a quality player, he's carried his form straight into this season, the change of team, city and with no pre season at Everton and he's just continued his form with goals, that shows he's got the attitude and ability to be a top player.
He's far better then all of Chelseas strikers and has been for over a season now, loaning him and keeping them 3 strikers could go down as one of the worst moves of the summer, couple that with loaning out Moses too and selling Sturridge it's been a tragic year for letting players leave at the bridge.
I've also noticed the media are starting to turn on Jose, they've built him up and now would love the opportunity to bring him back down, they love to do that. The tone they are using when speaking about Jose is fart different from the last time around, see this Guardian article about him walking out of the press conference today.

They've reported on Jose doing similar things before but, in the way I read it, it felt far more negative in it's tone, I just get a feeling this is going to increase over the coming weeks if the current trend of ex / loanee players are doing well but results for chelsea are erratic, the press will go at Jose to try get him to explode and then they can crucify him, it's going to be like the south park episode when Brittany Spears has to be sacrificed for harvest!
