Southampton feature a lot - could they be the typical case of thinking they will do well just because they've started well?
==========================================

They've been decent since they controversially brought in Pochettino (sp?) , and have only improved their squad in the summer with Wanyama and Osvaldo. Would be very surprised should they finish outside the top 10.

They finished 14th last year, and have bought two unproven players in.

Not sure how you're so confident of a top ten finish?

Bought Lovren too, forgot about him, decent player.

Poc took over when they were 16th I think, 3 or 4 points outside relegation zone, and got them playing really nice stuff, beating City, Chelsea and Pool in the process.

They've added quality who seem to be settling in well.

Not a guarantee, but like I say I'd be surprised if they finished 11th or below.

Fair dos.

I don't really agree though - decent side, but could finish either side of the halfway mark I think.

Can't believe their manager still doesn't speak English!

Southampton are my surprise pick for a Euro spot/Cup win this year

Difficult to see beyond CFC and MCFC as winners. Unless MUFC pull off a blinding last 6/7ths (ish) of a season.

LFC and THFC are the 'best of the rest'.

Could be:

MCFC
CFC
MUFC
THFC
LFC
EFC
AFC (been very lucky so far, even by their standards of recent seasons).

8th place could go to SFC or NFC. Depends much on how many away wins either can pinch.

It could of course be CFC's year though. Certainly an interesting season.
