Comments like 'buying him will mean Giroud will only be back up' are BS, tbh. We want two things, 1) to improve the first team and 2) to increase competition for positions. Giroud should have to fight for his place just like whoever we sign, if we do sign someone. And if we do sign someone it should be a player who is better than Giroud.
