doovde

still reckon bringing on eriksen was totally pointless. but there we go.

Only saw the second half, but looked like a walk in the park.

I know Lamela didn't play that well, buy I'd start him v west ham. Would boost his confidence

i only saw second half and thought lamela did ok. definately as good as any other attacking player we had in the second half.

Townsend on the right for me. Bloke is in much
better form. Don't need to rush Lamela, plenty of time.

i agree with doovde. lamela is here for the long term. we dont even need him atm. he has plenty of time to be eased in.

however being spurs fans there will be an element of our support who are already getting impatient with him, and others will probably be already labelling him a flop.

Plusses tonight were definetely Chiriches and Chadli, both looked very comfortable on the ball.

ITV4 nonsense about our flanks/pace.
No Townsend today, and Lennon still injured.

Only caught about 2mins of it at work, will watch later, but can only go on what was said about the pony pitch.

I'm with Chronic on this to be honest, pretty pointless starting Dembele & Walker.

If you're going to bring anyone off it'd be Mousa, drop Holtby back and bring Kane on at 2-0. Holtby won't be starting Sunday so pointless taking him off really.

Siggy and Eriksen needless subs. If nobody is injured no need to risk them.

Thankfully no injuries barring Ledley MkII. How awaited were the staff of his problems? What a foolish decision to let Caulker go if they were fully aware of this.

Another win, another clean sheet though. Happy days

It was a boring pedestrian match and the co commentator Alex Mcleish was just awful to listen to.

His monotonous dulcet tone was so bloody irritating.

The match was dull and the commentary was <w@nk>

Save yourself 90 minutes I'll never get it back but you still have a chance

The pitch was pony, but I would not be watching the whole match that was pony as well. In truth it was another training session.

On the plus side 3 out of 4 bets came in,

Defoe to score first
0-2
Spurs to win
Holtby to score in 90 minutes

Is there a highlights package I can catch

I don't think I'll bother, just FFWD to the goals. Anything else of note to look out for?

Harry - did you do the scorecast for JD and 2-0?

posted on 3/10/13

I just put 4 single bets on mate. In truth, I don't really know what I'm doing with betting and tricasts, accumulators etc. baffle me but the system, such as it is, seems to be working

Write on your slip:

Defoe to score first & Spurs to win 2-0
£5 (or whatever) scorecast

If both come in you'd get a tidy little sum. Can't imagine the singles are great odds?

posted on 3/10/13

I see what you mean. I usually stick to single bets and you're right the odds are fairly low unless Skybet are offering a price boost as they were tonight on Defoe scoring first. I only bet small sums but I'm 150% up since the start of the season and it's nice to think I get to screw Murdoch out of some money on a regular basis

There's absolutely no evidence for this whatsoever is there? Forgive me if I'm wrong.

The only place I've heard it spoken of is on this board. Are we to really think that we know something that NO journalist does? Because it would make news if they did.

I'm calling nonsense

Even if this was the case, and Chiriches was lined up before it happened, it doesn't detract from the fact that 2 CBs left, and just one came in, leaving four.

I suspect Kabs will be fine, because if the staff knew something we don't about his injury, and he is finished, then that would be wholesale negligence. I can't believe they'd be so stupid. On that basis I think Kabs will be ok
