He's gone to a bigger and better club. What idiot would turn down Real Madrid, people are just still plain bitter.

Remember a lot of you saying he won't go because 'he's not for sale'. Well look what happened. Wish him well and move on, he dragged our team through the sheeiit last season.

I don't wish him any failure, and will keep an eye on how he does. He has moved on to better things like it or not, just as Eriksen, Lamela et al did when moving to us .

On the face of it he could have gone about it better but in don't take what I read in the press at face value - I'm sure we were playing the game too.

Of the players that have left though, I'm keeping a far keener eye on Tommy Hudd. I'm delighted he is doing well for Hull and if he gets an England call it may actually ignite my interest again. I'm looking forward to seeing him at the Lane in a few weeks, I hope he gets a good reception (and is on the losing side obviously)

Hope he and Real Madrid are decidedly average and they win nothing. Regardless of hoe much money we got for him, I hope they remain in barca's/messi's/neymar's shadow

So giving an opinion that does not follow the norm, is somehow perceived as moaning. This is an internet forum FFS, where all views should be tolerated, whether you agree with them or not. Bale does not play for Spurs now, so why would anybody be interested in him? He did not give two fecks about Spurs supporters when he decided not turn up for training.

Do not wish injury on any player.
But for Real Madrid to win SFA while Bale is in their ranks : fair game.

i want bale to do well....he's a great player who i had the privelage to watch live...and for our great club...

and sandy....didn't you moan at/name call me the other day for having a differing opinion to yours.....!?

I think he went too early, should've stayed another season. I'm sure he'll do well once he's settled in but I can't say i'm bothered.

Sandy,

I understand that you don't have to care what Bale is doing now, however what you do need to understand is that without Bale doing so well and giving us so much while here then we would have never got the 100 million plus to spend on virtually a new squad, without Bale we wouldn't have got anywhere near 4th place either.

We have a lot to thank him for and he had every right to go on and improve himself.

Be grateful what we got out of it and the fact it has taken our Club to hopefully the Next Level

Good luck to the Lad
