Why are you so against it?

Genuine question when I look it up it says the word mostly used by Jewish people in self depreciating humour. Is this not the equivalent of say a club with some Irish owners/fans and their fans calling themselves paddy army or the like?

Feel free to sing it I'm not stopping anyone, I'd hate to see our club dragged down because of idiots like Baddiel and The Society of Black Lawyers putting pressure on the club,

I wouldn't do that, I know how important the Y word is to the club and the fans, it would be like telling Newcastle fans to stop singing "Toon Army" it rips the soul out the club

But there's been warning's, statements, now the police have said that they will speak to those signing it and informing them of the word before any arrests are made.

What happens if someone is arrested for singing it Sunday? then a situation goes from mild to totally out of control? it's all over the papers, fans then start to put pressure on thier own, more arrests, because our fans are stubborn.

I don't want to see this affect our excellent season so far, no indication it will affect the players, but the fact remains, it's been a warning by the police!

I really hope our fans see sense!

Basically if you sing such songs on sunday, more so if due to whatever antics of the support of the TWO clubs with a proudly nasty element occur, you face a CCTV/plod lottery.

You won't be collared in your hundreds, but one or two of you will be unlucky.

I've realised that fans won't stop singing, that;'s the truth, but it's become beyond a joke, I'm not Jewish so I won't use it, but If I was and had no problem with the word then the police can't stop me singing it, they wouldn't stop black singers/rappers from saying the N word?

Imagine the uproar if they arrest someone who's Jewish?
