i just don't understand why we leave contracts till the last year. just doesn't make sense really but im sure its not as simple as it looks like though

Maybe the club know what sort of deal he/his reps are looking for and wanted to see how he got on in the first team before agreeing to the deal???

If I was him I'd hold on til things settle down in the Moyes era before I rushed to commit. Performances like Saturday will only increase the options he has open. Bit like the hilarious stuff on the BBC about him playing for England - why would any sane person with talent choose England at the moment.

If he leaves it will hurt ten times worse than Pogba.

This lad has got the lot. If he works hard and doesn't get too big for his boots, we could have the new BIG Superstar on our hands.

If he leaves the club, serious questions have to be asked.

I think we will all be happier when he signs. Of course the downside of him getting games is that every blinder he has, the more other clubs will circle and his agent will add another nought to the contract demand.

Everything you say seems so negative. I would be hugely disappointed if he left but why worry about that now when we can just enjoy his performances?

There is another big difference between Adnan and Pogba.

Once Pogba got the smallest taste of 1st team action, he as good as gave up on reserve football. His head dropped and he clearly thought he was too good.

Adnan, on the other hand, played a blinder, midweek, in the reserves... scoring a wondergoal and looked like he enjoyed every minute on the pitch.

Im not negative at all. He has less than a year to run on his deal and listening to what his agent said recently, it doesn't sound that great. He seems to be a right shister.

Really hope he does stay. I pay my 790 quid a season to watch players like him and not cloggers like some of our other players.

can he leave at xmas or have you got him until season's end?

No one can begrudge Pogba leaving. Top players have to have an element of arrogance and confidence to make it to the top. Pogba was looking across Europe and seeing 18 year olds breaking into top teams and trusted to go out and do a job. Unfortunately for him he had a manger that did not trust him and decided to play wingers, full backs and bring back player from retirement, all at a time when his club was having a midfield injury crisis.

Yes it is horrible watching him do so well at another club but it is all SAF's fault.

I for one would love it if Moyes put in a bid for him in 1 or 2 years time and brought him back. It would have to be an almighty bid though.

juventus would want a massive bid as you say, would love moyes to go for pogba but cant see it really. playing regular football for a great club and getting paid pretty well. plus italy is a better place than england

I think the game that did it for Pogba was Blackburn at home a couple of seasons ago. a defeat that cost us the title. Rafael played in midfield, Pogba was on the bench !

Imagine if, so soon after a summer in the transfer doldrums, we made one of our most telling 'signings' of recent times by getting Januzaj to stay... There would be a pleasing irony if he went on to be the next big thing. Obviously a big 'if', at present, but here's hoping.

Make him an offer he can't refuse.....

I totally agree Rooneysmiles. Why lose a £30m pound player for the sake of 50 grand a week.

Pogba at juventus doing so well really does irritate me as hes literally perfect for Utd right now

As for Januzaj if we cannot keep him we have to question the ambition of the club and long term future. Hes that good !!

Just seen this, I couldn't believe our team against blackburn to. Rafael and park both not central midfielders played ahead of a youngster who impressed. I think SAF at times was hypocritical he used to go on about young players then played 39 or 40 year olds near 90 minutes on two away games that are tough. I still cannot believe the team sheet against man city in 2012 away. He went for experience over what the real team should have been full of young players.

Pogba had every right to go though, He used to be a mature central midfielder and now hes added goals to his game but saf didn't want to play him and instead yes while scholes was a great player he got scholes out of retirement before choosing pogba. So when we have a midfielder crysis he doesn't pick pogba and then he plays a player who retired who comes back regularly. No wonder why he decided to leave.

Januzaj will leave to if he doesn't get the opportunities especially if players who play bad get picked ahead of him after he plays well.

Depends who comes for him really (if they come)

if one of the big 2 or Bayern come for him he's gone and it's nothing to do with the ambition of the club

If Monaco or PSG offer him double+ wages for what he's worth or even potentially worth and he opts for the cash then again it's got nothing to do with United
