The travel was not the problem. The tactics were.

Our defence was simply embarrassing.

I thought Towsend was decent though...

Better than many anyway.

Walker obviously was not fit today.

But yes, win our 2 home games in the EL and we top the group, send the kids to the other 2 away games.

Seriously pist off.

No team has ever managed to play well in Europe and the league to be fair.

If Walker is ill why is he starting both games?

Why did Dembele (poor today) play 90 on Thursday and Holtby come off?

Why did Eriksen (poor today) come on in Russia?

Why did Defoe start both games? If starting today why didn't Soldado get Thursday?

Chronic got some heavy stick earlier in the week, and is probably owed a few apologies

It was an embarrassing display but what did I say would happen against a team like a west ham or stoke?

Play too narrow at home against a side who are not known for attacking and we would get punished. No surprise whatsoever.

All the flack should be on avb (I am a massive fan of his)but he is tactically stubborn and this is such a basic mistake.

"Chronic got some heavy stick earlier in the week, and is probably owed a few apologies"

None of your questions actually relate to the "travelling too long" blurb of Chronic though.

i am a bit confused as to why we didnt at least try townsend on the left for a while when him on the right wasnt working.

i called it about midway through the first half when i said that the game reminded me of fulham at home at the beck end of last season, it had the same vibe. this was far worse though.

"its better than the Lame"

It should be, for all the money spent to build it.
But not that bad to be used as an excuse.

posted on 6/10/13

posted on 6/10/13

Soon.

So what is about the Library that means you don't like to go there ??
