Suppose the link comes from McAuley signing from Ipswich the season before last.

Thorne out on loan means we have less cover for Mulumbu and Yacob but after the Fulham game I'm happy for Morrison to tuck in there.
But the experience Thorne will get will be more important than him covering a couple matches for us.
we can recall if we get hit my injuries to midfield anyway.
