Got a gift against Molina, looked average against Vanes and unconvincing against Angulo. Talented boxer but too negative at times and in his shell. Would back Mayweather, Canelo and Trout to beat him.

He absolutely destroyed Paul Williams who was very difficult to beat, that fight was one of the biggest robberies in recent history. I had it 9-3 in Lara's favour.

He also beat Angulo convincingly who.

Those two are probably the biggest wins on his resume.

I think it's hard for him to get the big fights cos he's not a big name and not a money maker. A shame really, I think he's defo the best at 154.

RGK, I definitely think he'd outbox Canelo. Hopefully we see a fight between them sometime in the future, it's pretty likely imo.

Looking forward to his fight with Trout. It should be put on the same card as Maidana - Broner, Thurman - Karass and Molina - Ortiz.

The Trout fight will tell us a lot but basically I agree. I think he may be the best at 154. Wouldn't say he destroyed Williams though! He won the fight pretty clearly on points, but destroyed??

He destroyed Williams, yes. Winning 8/9 rounds out of 12 is destroying in my book. You may wanna choose a different word, like dominated, but you get my drift. It wasn't a close fight.

His straight left is unbelievable, only second to Manny and maybe Martinez.

He beat Williams who was coming off a devastating knockout loss against Martinez. Williams was never the same fighter. He flatters to decieve. Wasn't impressed with him against Vanes.

Watched his fight against Vanes for the second time last week, I agree he wasn't impressive, but including the that was stopped, I had him winning that one. The rhythm was with him though, he was picking up the pace and was starting to outbox Vanes, who himself is a pretty decent fight. He's got good amateur background and still unbeaten as a pro.

Haven't heard about that. As far as I know, Karass - Thurman and Molina - Ortiz are on the same card as Maidana - Broner.

Actually Lara - Trout and Pauli - Zab are both expected to take place on December 7th, so on the same card I'm guessing...

I agree that Lara - Trout won't be two exciting to watch, but it'll be an interesting tactical battle. Both are good boxers, Lara has that extra spark for me though. Fancy him in this one
