England players get crucified for missplacing a pass when 5-0 up, imagine the stick they would get for missing a penalty. No thanks.

We'll win in Australia. Again.

Good point, Bats.

I love the argument that some people make regarding practicing penalties in training.

"You can't react the pressure of a match in training" tends to be the line.

So because you can't recreate the pressure you shouldn't practice them at all?

Pens in friendlies is a good idea in my opinion, combined with taking them in training as well

Why not

I say no, imagine we lose a shootout. The press would be all over it and drain all the players confidence before the real thing.

Get the players taking as many as possible before tournements I say!

I saw the argument that some of the players will have been subbed off, but maybe the younger players will be on who will be the future starters?

Only down side I see is for the fans at the game that have a long drive home although they can always give the pens a miss I guess

Good for practice I guess but not sure it's really necessary to win a friendly on penalties
