First XI Liverpool are comfortably better than Spurs
___

That explains why you finished 11 points ahead of us last season .

Honestly...Liverpool fans level of delusion and arrogance is genuinely unprecedented in sporting history,

At the start of the season I would have said the title would be contested between City and Chelsea. Having seen Arsenal play recently I think they can be added to the list.

Personally I think Liverpool after November/December time will be lingering around the 4th spot. Spurs will be like 3rd and challenging for the title up until February time where they will slowly start to drift of the race.

Nope. We didn't even qualify for that.
............

What has changed that makes you believe you will get top 4?
--------------------------------
We got better and gelled as a team. We can grind out results when playing badly as opposed to playing well and losing. It's a big change.

No he is not, he has highlighted a delusion amongst LFC fans that LFC fans cannot handle.

Keep up the good work my myth busting friend.

What delusion is this exactly?

I think the fact that there aren't too many Spurs fans rushing to the defence of the idiot OP, speaks volumes.

Ha any liverpool fan said we will win the league apart from Gb?

I am genuinely intrigued about how many of you genuinely believe your respective sides have a chance of winning the title this season.
===============
City or Chelsea should win it this season.
I think we have a better chance than United, simply because I do not see Moyes having the ability to manage a title winning side, yet at least.

We take things game by game. No point looking too far into the future. We are enjoying our good form, and the way we are dispatching the leagues lower clubs.

Soon we will be going head to head with the teams that will finish top 6. We will go into them with a increased level of confidence compared to last season.

As a Liverpool fan, we have pretty much no chance, but it was never the target, Top 4 was, which we still have a chance of doing.

As for Arsenal, they unfortunately have a real chance for the Title, the best team at the moment but I still think Chelsea will win the title.

The delusion that you are a top 4 team.

What have i missed?

Nobody has said we're a top four team. Are you really THAT special that you read things which weren't said? That's a few times on this thread alone. Do you wear a nappy?

Spurs have better players than Liverpool and a better squad spirit than Arsenal.

top 4 is going to be City, United (despite the Moyes effect), Chelsea and Arsenal

Liverpool have been playing like arsse all season but getting results more or less.

Unless something dramatic happens with the existing players or we have a brilliant Jan window, I think well come up short.

We do have a lot of quality in a fully fit starting XI way but even scanning the subs in that match starts to look a bit threadbare.

No one is deluded about Liverpool except non Liverpool supporters made up perception of how much we rate our side. We don't other than GB but he's refreshing to much of the doom amongst our ranks IMO even if misguided.

At the moment were in the top 4 but it's early days. Personally if we finish higher than last season then I'll be happy. How on Earth is that deluded?

You have two things going on with Liverpool here.

1. An improvement.

2. Liverpool fans vastly overstating the extent of that improvement.

Look, they were owned all over the park by 10 men today.

What seems to be happening if they are avoiding losing, whilst playing extremely poorly.

That is still a positive thing, but better than Spurs or Arsenal or United etc?

Really?!

Anyone who believes this deserves to be at.
