Who will support Chelsea next season?

Feel free to speculate on the ones who NEED success that much that they can't wait for a long term plan to come to fruition.

How can you be so sure that the ' long term plan' will be fruitful?
Its one thing to back a manager with proven track record. managers that have won multiple tittles and silverware can fall back on their tittle winning experience. There is more potential for them to win with enough backing. Moyes doesnt have that kind of a track record so noone knows he can do it or not, so best way judge his ability is on game by game basis imo. so far he has not impressed

I think w+r gets unfair stick on here imo
So does redastomatoes. It's always the ones that put their neck on the line with their opinions that get it in the neck. The ones who sit on the fence and say pretty much nothing only do their finger pointing afterwards in hindsight

I have no problem with posters who go against the grain per se, in fact I quite like Redastomatoes and agree with a lot of what he says. What I do have a problem with is people who slag off every aspect of the club like W&R does. I mean just look at his name.

We have the same on our board too. Not just a Utd thing. If you point out something you're known as a whinger

Yeah w+r's name is ridiculous. I think he knows it too

Would never support chelsea, weird horrible place for a start and fans who were traditionally bullies- headhunters, chelsea smile etc. New chelsea fans, many of whom came to the uk in the last 5-10 years , are actually ok in comparasion

From what I've gathered, it is completely wrong to criticise Moyes or United. And if you do, then you're a glory hunter.

All in the eyes of our Aussie brother, Robb.

You're from a country thousands of miles away from Manchester. Don't think you are in any position to lecture fans personally.

And any United fan over the age of 8 is not going to stop supporting the club because of a few poor seasons. Don't be so ridiculous.

I support my local team and go every home game and have done for 20 odd years. I will be United till the day I die. I spend more hours in a day than it is probably healthy thinking and talking about United.

Not rating a manager is just like not rating a player. Nobody is beyond criticism and giving somebody time just because Fergie got it is not a guarantee he'll get better. Football doesn't work like that.

Superb post, as a local I think it's a bit rich robb for trying to lecture me.

I never wanted Moyes because I doubted he could hack it at this level. So far he's showing us he does not have what it takes. It's not about winning games alone but tactics and his approach to games that concern me the most.

If I was running Utd he would never have got the job and even if he did, he would be sacked today because I want what is best for United and that is not David Moyes.

Boys, is Moyes still in/out?
