At this rate it is easy to predict the type of players Moyes will buy. Just think of any player that more like Fellaini and less like like Zaha, Kagawa, Hernandez really.

CB
CM
LB
WINGER

Would be nice if moyes played zaha but he doesnt rate him at the moment

I think you have too many very good / very promising players

it's why people say you have the most depth

Too many too good to sell but not good enough to start types

you might have to cull before you acquire unfortunately and there is a big risk to that

The teams needs 100m spending on it to get it to what it should be.

It will never happen though.

He'll spend it on crappy players.

Ad - nan

Which current players would you drop to accomodate the new CB, CM, LB and winger?

Stretford, Again what positions would you spend the £100m on and who gets dropped?

We need 2 central midfielders and a left winger as Adnan isn't a winger.

We also need to give rooney a break, he's played a lot of football

If we are not among top 6 come january, we will be looking for a new manager

Reddevils double

------------

I'd go and buy Lars Bender and Julian Draxler tomorrow if it were my money.

And play 4-3-3 again (ala United 2008)

---------------Januzaj-----RVP------Rooney

--------------Draxler-----Carrick----Bender

==========================

Evra and Rio hopefully leave at the end of the season but if moyes gives zaha a chance then i think we could cope without a winger till the end of the season

Bloody hell, moyes knew he was getting the united job.....yet dithered in his dealings.

from the outside it's almost toss a coin on who to get rid of as there is a similar level of quality outside of the top players.

If I were you I'd sign one 'big name' centreback, centremid, and winger for the starting XI

posted on 19/10/13

SE85 - Yes we need 2 of these type of quality players
Draxler, Gundogan, Fabregas, Koke, Bender (x2), Reus,
Fergie missed a massive chance to have got Dembele which would have seriously improved us and he is way better than Fellaini

Looks good to me Stretford. I just cannot understand the club sanctioning the Fellaini deal If Moyes plans to drop him. Same with Nani.

MUD - Who would you move on / drop to accomodate the 2 CMs and Winger?

posted on 19/10/13

If you sold Valencia, Young, Anderson and Cleverley and spent big for 3 new players the side would be immediately improved.

Even if they took time to settle you have more than enough cover.

posted on 19/10/13

You could have wrapped up Baines, Ozil and Garay last summer with 100m and still had change for another top player.

posted on 19/10/13

I would get rid of Young, Anderson and Fellaini. Simple really

posted on 19/10/13

I Agree with most of what people have said but the point of my post was to understand realistically, with the squad we have IF players are signed who would move on.

Most want a CM and a winger but none of Carrick, Fellaini, Januzaj, Nani, Young, Valencia or Kagawa are going anywhere until the summer at least.

posted on 19/10/13

They do not have to leave for us to strengthen the team

posted on 19/10/13

Apart from maybe another move for baines I cant see us doing any business in january

posted on 19/10/13

Shaw, cabella, gundongan/vidal.

posted on 19/10/13

you have to make room though MUDD

you've got a full squad so somebody needs to at least go out on loan

posted on 19/10/13

Get rid of young, Anderson And buttner or fabio Giggs and Fletcher should also make way

posted on 19/10/13

Anderson is definately gone IMO
Young probably next favourite to be off loaded

Dont see rio or giggs getting another contract

posted on 19/10/13

side point - it is trickier because the market has changed so much recently with PSG, Monaco, and City knocking people around with barrels full of cash

targets are harder to come by.

even arsenal seem to have a 'warchest' these days
