I don't think we would have bought RVP. I reckon the front line Fergie wanted last season was:

Nani Kagawa Hazard
-------Rooney

Probably would have also brought the best out of Kagawa. Ah well.

He would be on the bench only playing if Giggs got injured.

Like kagawa we'd probably be wasting him on the bench for weaker players than him. He's probably thinking what a smart move it was to join Chelsea now.

In terms of game time I'd be thinking the same thing too.

He would have been more suited to us imo

I know he played well yesterday but I don't think hazard has looked good at all this season. He's defo not the "next Ronaldo" that people were all saying.

Also....interestingly apparently Lucas Moura is having a tough time of it in France and has been on bench more than in first 11 this yr so far.

Hazard is one player I really hoped we signed. Certainly one of the best youngsters around and will be among top players in the world in future imo. Really gutted we missed out on him.

I think the move went well for him. If he selected united he would probably be sharing the bench with Kagawa

The one player I was disappointed not to get was Alexis Sanchez. I know he hasn't been superb at Barcelona but I really liked him at Udinese.

That is because we have this stupid policy at the club of not paying the "required" agent fees.
Chelsea paid the extra 8m and got him and we are stuck with Ashley Young

yes i think saf played a part in this, he hated agents but times have changed

Hazard and Moura are wingers. If they can't play in a 442 formation then they aren't good enough

Anyone laughed at that ecsquisite piece of skill from Welbeck yesterday when he tried to tee Rooney and instead tripped over the ball.

I agree that hazard hasn't hit the extraordinary heights people expected of him as of yet but he's so talented for his young age. People talk about mata being influential on our team but hazard IMO is our one irreplaceable player. I think in two years he'll be amongst the top 2 EPL players

For me he has.
Unless one expected him to reach Ronaldo heights which will be impossible.
But whenever he has played against us he has ripped us to shreds.
Completely proven his worth and he hasnt even reached his full potential yet. Brilliant player.
