We had one cleared off the line, one disallowed for some unknown benign reason, and one hit the post. And Lewa should've been sent off. We were just unlucky tonight.

Let's not forget we had a perfectly good goal disallowed for something in the refs imagination.

Cazorla should be fitter for the return fixture and we will have Flamini back. Not impossible IMO

I am not happy with our performance to be honest. In the first half we are not acting. Showed too much respect.

I think the defence made it difficult for Szczesny on both goals. Ramsey was decent, Gibbs was good tonight but both switched off for just a second on the goals and it cost them and us. No marking on Lewandowski, even on a counter like that, is silly. Good finish on the first, great on the second.

True. Minute amount of contact and Hummels got away with poor positioning, although I think the defender might've made a bit more effort to block it had the whistle not gone.

Giroud was quality. Tired a bit late on, but was the perfect front man for a lot of the game.
