There are still muppets on the board who think he doesn't get into our team
I agree. Walcott would have given us a whole new outlet . Ozil and cazorla could have threaded balls through to him to run on to.
Its just mainly that tool Garwood that can't seem to see his threat.
It's more than just garwood
Agreed. The only player with genuine pace and thrust and the threat required to limit the opponents chances of squeezing play and defending high. Opens up the field immeasurably having he as an outlet.
Without him, against sides as good as Dortmund, we find it really difficult creating clear chances. Don't think we deserved to lose today, but how many saves did we force a pretty dodgy keeper into today? A game that was at home? Even the goal came from a Dortmund error of judgement. Tells its own story.
We'll be a lot more varied and threatening when Walcott returns.
Walcott will hopefully be back for return leg, we need to accept the German teams are technically above English teams even Arsenal, Klopp must replace Wenger in future, he is what we need moving forward.
Don't think they are technically better they pressed a lot more which is why you could see that they sat deeper in the second half cos they were tired. Reus was pretty ordinary so was Lewandowski until he scored but he shouldn't of been on the pitch by then.
Walcott or the OX would have been a good option, but the real miss was Flamini.
