What's the background to the issue? Why are their former clubs able to block them playing for us?
Think its due the money we paid for them. Considerably less than what they valued the players at but because they were under 18 we found some sort of loophole.
I thought it was because in Spain they cant offer professional contracts to U18s
But in England you can.
Apparebtly valencia wanted 4 mil, and they wanted to sue us or something.
Probably sending them ilori on loan so theyve dropped it (just a guess) or theh realised they wouldnt win so just gave up
canos is nothing so special imo
and the way my brother has been treated this season by the coaches at LFC to accommodate canos and the vastly overrated sinclair, is nothing short of disgusting !
he's been the top scorer for his age group every year from 9 yrs old to 16..and now he's being used to make up the numbers in training..with no chance of being offered a pro contract at LFC
he's a 17yr old kid and its wrecking his head
LFC academy coaches FACK the lot of you !!!!
no offence boys but i hope LFC get relegated and go into admin
Jeez chillout pekster. Is it possible that even though he's been top scorer he doesn't have the necessary skills they're looking for?
when the club pays ££M for strikers from different clubs and when they've got a kid who they paid zilch for as a 9 yr old...guess which one is preferred by the coaches
I can imagine it would have an effect, but at the same time you're coming from a position of bias.
Would they spend ££M on strikers from other clubs if they had someone equally as good if not better at their own club who they have invested money in already?
whenever my brother is given a run out and plays a full match he always scores
sinclair can go 7 matches without a goal, and without playing any decent football
Fair enough. I recall Morgan going on a crazy scoring streak though, and we all know he's sh ite :P
What's your brothers name?
Pekster
I think is referring to Robles, and he is a top prospect from what I've seen.
I think questions have to be asked about the recruiting of players from Spain who are so young and have massive problems adjusting to the new lifestyle and language. They then have to adjust to the physical side of the game at the same time.
Look at the carnage so far, Pacheco, Nacho Huertes, Suso, and other lightweight continental players like Adorjan, Mukendi, Biao, Silva the lost goes on.
We really need to focus on the young local players to make this Academy a success.
Dont you dare include suso with them you
Hate to say it but there is a chance he won't be coming back from Spain
Based on what?
9 apps 3 assists 1 goal, playing very well, almerias best player.
I just get the feeling if a decent offer comes in they will let him go, where would he play in our team at the moment?
Well coutinhos place... but im happy that hes on loan showing what hes made of, just a shame almeria concede goals for fun
I'm with you I like Suso and hope he comes back. I'd like to see him play in the Pirlo role when he matures.
