Nice thread, so many opinons i dont know where to start.

1. Seahawks seem the most complete team to me, intelligent QB and solid on the defence, home field will be a huge hurdle for others to overcome.
2. Broncos in reality should still have won against Indy and that despite being outplayed for 3 quarters, Peyton is formidable when they are under pressure and the weapons are phenomenal. The defence is almost back to fitness as well, they will get stronger in that department.
3. New Orleans look tough to beat and Brees is deadly when up against it, another with a strong home field advantage as well. Experts here seem to think they are the strongest unit.
4. San Fran 49ers, back in the grove now with a killer run game, playing to their strengths again after a wobble, wont get rolled again all season.
5. Torn here......probably say Green Bay now they have a run game to go with Rodgers arm, nobody wants to go to Lambeau in december or january.

Honourable mentions to Bengals, chiefs and Indy and Dallas.
Chiefs are nowhere near as good as the record suggests, will struggle when chasing a game to any of the offensive juggernauts, wouldn't put a penny on them pulling off a game winning drive.
Bengals could go either way, Dalton looks more consistant the last few games, but they need to bury Jets on Sunday and then maybe people will accept them.

i think indy has to be in any list, i mean evan in your list theve beat 3 of the top 4 teams this year, i think your harsh on kc also, yes easyish schedule so far but its very hard to stay unbeatan for 3+ games in the nfl never mind 7

i do agree seatle are looking very strong, i think if their o line was fit and healthy they would be unanimous num1

it wasent too bad the cost, i gt it at the start of this month the package without the playoffs beacuse sky show all those games, it was 20quid a month and i can stop it any time, so really 5 quid a week for 13 games(because they blackout the sky games), however you can still watch the sky games once they have finished on sky sports

well worth it mate

I just think losing Reggie Wayne will hit them hard mate.
They can beat anyone but they also still have bad days, losing to Miami this season for example.

I am just not buying KC at all, seriously overhyped in my opinion, that said i hope i am wrong as i live in Kansas

We'll the way it works is every game not on sky is shown live, after every game even the sky games you can see a full repeat or a shortened version which shows every play but no breaks etc usually between 30-40 mins, you can also watch every game back up to the 2009 season plus playoff games

Yeah without Wayne I dnt see them winning it all, they will win the division no doubt IMO but they dnt have the depth at wr without him but then not a lot of teams would without a num1 wideout

............

No he isn't Stringer. Unless the Redskins offensive line pull their fingers out RG3 will not last the season.

Hard to see past the Seahawks and the 49'ers at the moment, and that includes Denver.

I think both those you mention could easily ruin Denver's game plan.

The "experts" are suggesting that RG3 is nowhere near the player he was a year ago and may struggle to turn his career around, shows no confidence anymore and looks uncomfortable running as well.

.............................

The Redskins play calling doesn't help him. And their offensive line give him no protection what so ever.

There have been signs of late that he is starting to run better. He didn't get a chance yesterday.

Yeah I wouldn't write him off yet that's for sure.
I do worry that he just isn't comfortable taking a big hit now though, I really don't expect him to be in the NFL five years from now unfortunately, no team can afford to rely on a guy who is likely going to be injured often, look at how the eagles have had that issue the last few years, no momentum at all.

Kirk Cousisns is technically a better QB than RG3, but again, he wouldn't get any protection from the offensive line.

I feel there will be big moves from the Redskins in free agency next year, and they will likely do a deal with someone for Cousins and a high draft pick.

posted on 28/10/13

Think you are probably right, cousins I would imagine would interest a few sides who don't get a high draft pick.
As it stands there are about 7 or 8 sides who need to reload on qb.

...............

Yes there is. And he will be an asset to any team that has a half decent offensive line.

Maybe they shock us all by offering up RG3 for even better draft options?!?
The NFL is a ruthless world.
Cousins has excellent numbers for his time on the pitch, 33 of 48, 68% completion rate.

Tampa, Jacksonville, Minnesota, Cleveland, Houston and Chicago will all be keen to pick one up for sure I would think.......and then to a lesser extent Arizona, st Louis, Tennessee and maybe even philly?

I don't think it would be that big a shock if they traded RGIII instead of Cousins.

..............................

Put it this way, if that happened, I wouldn't like to be in Snyder or Allen's shoes. They would get lynched.

.......................

I think the day of the scrambling QB is coming to an end.

...........................

I think the exact opposite. You are seeing more of them.

The problem with both the Eagles and the Redskins is that their respective offensive lines don't give good enough protection to either Vik or RGIII.

Imagine how good their offences would be if either QB got the protection Eli, Peyton, Tom Brady, Drew Brees etc get.

Drew Brees has time to light up a reefer and smoke the damn thing before he has to throw it.
