75 points in the next 30 games = 25 wins + 5 draws/losses. A hard task but not impossible. Theres alot of strong teams this year so I dont see such a high target, last years 2nd place was Man City at 78 points, This year I expect around the sameish number.

At the moment I'm more concerned on getting some consecutive wins then winning the title.

This utd team could only win titles with Fergie. I never rated their squad as title winning one, but Fergie turned them into one.

They are still a good team, and I think with Rooney and the up front they will be pretty strong to finish top 4 and maybe top 3.

I don't think many united fans realistically thought the title would be won, even less so after the summer shambles. But just want to finish top 4 the way it's going to be fair, get to the quarters or further if possible in the CL and a cup win would be fantastic but hard to do

Why wouldn't United be expected to retain the title? We were slated when we reliquinished it yet we were still in with a shout until about April.

In case some people have been misinformed, United have replaced their manager and added a £27m midfielder to their ranks - The squad hasn't been wiped out by an outbreak of plague, they haven't been forced to sell any key player from the squad that won the title and they haven't been docked any points by the FA. Why shouldn't people have them down as title favourites.

That 95 point record could have been broken by man utd last 2 seasons. This season is the first time realistic we won't have a chance going into last 6 games of the season.

It looks like my face will remain intact for another season.
