Which proves they are not big clubs.

FFS Chelsea and Man City. Cannot take that off their CV. And they reckon they have not brought their way to the top table.

im sure they cry themselves to sleep every night, remembering the days when they won league titles and european cups(in chelsea's case) whereas you (because youre clearly no older than 16) have never seen your team win the league, or any european trophy, only the tin pot Carling Cup

Hollow laugh you have only won the league twice.

Don`t mistake Spurs two league wins they earnt, for two or three Chelsea league wins they brought. Sugar Daddy buys your trophies. Big, big difference sunshine. Zenith Data, FFS how do you get to enter that trophy?

Pull the other one pal all United supporters come from Surrey or The Phillipines. City are the true Manchester boys. You can`t fool me mate.

Joe Lewis = Sugar Daddy.

Not put a penny into the club. That`s not a sugar daddy. Abramovich is a sugar daddy, just about to spunnnnnk his second billion down the King`s Road, and what for less trophies year on year. More and big hitters are coming into the game now, Abam man is falling fast down the pecking order. I mean desperation is setting in when he has to recall a manager who hates his guts, Maureen. Bye.

I agree, I don`t have any mates in Surrey. My mistake. Just for the record do you think United will finish top 10 this season, only you have an ageing squad now, 40 year olds seem to be holding down most of the first team places.

I suppose the club was offered free of charge to him then?

He took over a thriving entity, and has not since put any money in, unlike Abramovich who has plouged in over a billion and still spending to try to keep Chelsea up there with the big boys, he`s treading water at the moment though. Not long before he pulls the plug in my opinion.

You can't have it both ways.If he hasn't put any money in how come he owns the club then?

Weren`t Chelsea sold for a penny by Buster Bates, there`s your answer then. He brought the club for a penny.

Whatever, the bottom line is though this article is about the zenith data cup, and a tournament I thought minnows entered, obviously I was wrong, Chelsea it seems were regulars in the tournament.

The way I understand it is that Chelsea Football Club is owned by the company Chelsea FC plc and the parent company of Chelsea FC plc is Fordstam Limited. The ultimate controlling party of Fordstam Limited is Roman Abramovich. So doesn't mean that in order for Abramovich to "pull the plug" he will need to sell his majority stakeholding to Chelsea FC plc, which would probably be to an even wealthier ogliarch? It does not appear that simple that Abramovich will simply walk away.
