andersons gt no chance, hes gone in jan imo, not saying moyes hasent given him a chance but he must not have impressed in pre-season training,
i think that team is spot on bar maybe vp in for kagawa which i hope isant the case because kagawa really needs a run in the team
Ando had quite a good game for the U21's earlier in the week and I'd have him over Fellaini.
Sticking Nani on the left is just a waste of his talllents and we should start playing players in their favoured positions.
nani does play right now, adnan has started the games on the left, i think the op just gt that mixed up in the lineup
Kaz, will not know until the OP confirms it. Maybe he prefers Nani out lon the left.
RvP is back and our backs are bscking back.
Raph Rio Vidic evera
Carrick Fellaini
Nani Kagawa
ROONEY
RvP
problem with anderson is no one will buy him
Fellaini and Vidic will start for sure I reckon.

And I was just starting to enjoy watching us again.
Rooney smiles that team is horrible .
vidic, rio, Carrick and fellaini in the centre, I don't think you could get more immobile players.
I also don't ever want to see fellaini and Carrick again, just a terrible partnership. Too slow.
Rooneysmiles is like permanently high anyway.
Me too.
I can understand why they'd start as they're strong in the air.
Thing is, Stoke really are shît so we shouldn't have to play a side that's detrimental to our own strengths to combat theirs.
Fellaini really needs to step it up. I don't think he's as bad as people make out, but my fears about the lack of pace in the centre with him and Carrick is being proven correct.
Nothing like giving the lad time is there?
He's played 4 and a bit games and people are writing him off already.
Yet the same people defend the over weigth brazilian to the hilt even though he's been useless for 6 years, nevermind 4 bloody games.
Jusge Fellaini in about 6 months when he's had a chance to settle in.
------------------DDG---------------
Rafael---Jones-Evans----Evra
---------Carrick---Cleverley-----
---------------Fellaini---------------
---Rooney--RVP--Kagawa----
I'd love to see that trialled at some point.
It's not about giving him time.
its about putting 4 slow players in the core of the team.
absolute disaster.
I agree, Stretford. But surely you must acknowledge that the lack of pace and mobility in a Carrick and Fellaini partnership is a problem?
The formation is also the issue. We need to play 4-3-3.
We haven't got the players to play 433.
We haven't got the players to play 4-4-2 either. But we still persist with it and struggle to get a grip of a game against anyone half decent.
I think we have got the players to play 4-3-3 anyway.
My concerns are more over Vidic than tbh. Vidic makes 2 costly mistakes in 2 games and gets injured. Jones and Evans step in and don't put a foot wrong and the team start playing better. There is no way Vidic should waltz back in.
Not a huge fan of Fellaini, but meh, I don't see any other option today.
Fair enough. If we are gonna go 433 we need to drop one of Rooney or RVP or play them out of position, which isn't gonna happen.
If Rooney and RVP was/is the way we see the short term then we really needed to bring in the players to cater for its weaknesses (as well as Carrick, Rio and Vida) ie., a cm with pace that can carry the ball forward.
Sadly that's not been done.
I think Fellaini will slowly start to change peoples minds. He no world beater but he a lot better than he has shown so far. Just needs a bit more time to settle and get a good run of games.
I agree, but it still doesn't address the issue of the lack of pace in the centre of the pitch.
