Seriously. 100 plus million spent and we aren't even playing the creative players we purchased.
I still think we will do well this season. I still think we will win this, and we are hard to beat under AVB.
BUT- they way some people here claim he is so much a better manager than Redknapp is laughable.
Would we really be struggling to score, every game, if Redknapp was in charge?
Anyway Chronics good idea that leaving all the better players at home midweek seems to be working a treat.
Bottom line is Lennon should not be starting, not fully fit, Holtby is not good enough to start. Dembele and Erikson need to come on.

Big 45 mins coming up here, think we will sneak this but that first half was grim.
Would we really be struggling to score, every game, if Redknapp was in charge?

I seem to remember this being a trend under Arry at times. There was that season we kept going into half time at 0-0 hoping it wouldn't end that way or worse.

Eh? Most of them travelled. I would have left the whole lot at home midweek. And considering we won in midweek then what's your point ?
Need I remind you about spurs 0 - 3 west ham?
You are making yourself look a clown again
We have always had problems breaking teams down at WHL even under Harry
An embarrassment of Chiriches?
What is with these ultra complicated build-up plays, the obsession with back heels in the box.
We do this, but every time our biggest chance of scoring looks like Andros outside the box
We have 2 wingers on the pitch right. So why aren't we using them simply (ala Rednapp) - beat the fullback and cross.
That is why we got Soldado, right?
The Redknapp AVB stuff is tiresome now.
I agree, AVB should by now be formulating his best team, and I don`t think he really knows, all these changes in the middle of the park every match are meaning absolutely no consistency. Anything other than a win today would be a total disaster, and even this early in the season would almost certainly signal the end of any top four challenge.
I was certainly not expecting today`s line up.

Bring on Defoe and go 442?
who came off for Dembele?
and this is AVBs biggest problem. He thinks 'simple football' is ideologically beneath him.
Anyway, still think we will win.
COYS
We should be playing two strikers at home, the 4231 works when we play away from home but it doesn't work at home.
We have a striker that wants balls in the box, so why play with inverted wingers? Makes no sense.
right, lets get back on track...

Respected Tottenham Boy Chronic
Walker, Soldado, Paulino did not travel. Bottom line is whoever went and whoever stayed the team should be putting teams like Hull to bed with a minimum of fuss.
