Wish people would let this Suarez stuff go. We had our chance to sign him and we blew it. Liverpool stood strong and are reeping the rewards. There is nothing to laugh at them about, if anything they have taught us a lesson in the transfer market which is quite embarrassing considering the howlers they have made recently.

I guess it's better for him to have said "we're a tinpot club of no history or relevance and we're well beneath the talents of Suarez and we're looking for the highest bidder". Though we had moved on from the tedious Suarez saga.
