Individual errors have been costing us in these games for years. That's a recurrent theme of the past 8 years because of the way in which we approach these games, which is lots of horizontal passing, lots of sans meaning possession and little in the way of penetration. Do that for long enough and the frustration leads to lapses the likes of which we've been making for years.

The league cup is a no win situation. If we had gone all out and won it, the media would have discounted it immediately.

We need to win the league or at least the FA Cup. I have never thought we could or any premier league team could win the CL.
