people will point to Norwich but look at our performances last season and this season and you will see that if the team is set up right a MF pairing of jones and clev is sufficient

The pressing from the central defence was very good.

Vida and Rio did well when they were tested but the cm made their job a hell of a lot easier.

RR, our problem is that we need quality all rounders in our midfield really but we don't possess them.

All of our midfielders have weaknesses and we don't seem to have a good partnership that caters for the weaknesses.

Darren I would agree versus a Chelsea or city, but against a west brom/stoke etc I don't believe it to be true

The problem we have is trying to fit players into a team rather than the other way around

This will get criticism I know, but today everyone seemed to know their roles. had rooney and rvp and carrick played this would have been a different game imo. we may have still won it as Norwich cant score but it would have been less fluid and tbh less entertaining and skillful
