Doesn't interest me, eye test is better.
I have a look at it but never looked too deeply into what it really stands for.
Its a tough position to guage overall, the style of offence can make a huge difference for a start, Stafford puts up huge numbers but gets no real mention ever.
Its probably more interesting when you ignore the obvious great QBs and want to get a read on the lesser known ones, rookies etc.
As much as the NFL is a stats game playing QB well can be done by putting up huge or moderate numbers. As Cinci said it's down to the offence that is being run.
Looking at it for the first time Kaepernick and Dalton stand out in that for me, both have had 2 or 3 real stinkers in terms of eye test performance (not neccesarilly having the stats to back that stinker up) but sit in the Top 10. Whereas Romo and Stafford who have been far better in my view sit outside it.
Much as i think the Chiefs are terribly overrated, you have to acknowledge that Smith is virtually an error free QB, which is great in the regular season, Smiths downside will be when the Chiefs need to chase a game, its just not in him to cut loose.
Dalton has really come alive the last month, i was almost to the point of giving up on him, but it looks like the offensive calling has woken up as well which obviously has helped him.

He has improved significantly in recent weeks.
Do you think he'll still be the main man come next year though?
Cutler will be a free agent and for me he's been superior QB to Dalton with fewer weapons and an awful O Line. It seems like a no brainer for the Bengals to go for him, he'd be a massive upgrade in my opinion and as you'll finish with a decent record you won't have one of the higher picks for a QB.
Not sure on Cutler to be honest, a big arm for sure but i dont know whether i would settle for him or not.
I think the next 3 months will tell us what we need to know with Dalton.
But i dont really see us making a change to be honest.
Thoughts this morning Cinci?
Surprised Bengals lost, Miami aren't a good team.
Didn't watch the game, just caught the brief highlights.
Lovely run by Gio.
It only showed the Dalton pick for a TD. Where the other bad throws or unlucky?
how the feck did he manage to get sacked to end the game, unforgivable that
"Great fantasy points from Gio Bernard for me though"
Yeah, I have him in another league. Getting a good performance like that from one RB will often set you up for a win.
"He is just one of my back ups as well, only started because Denver are on a bye week"
Really.
I'd would've thought Gio is a must start as your RB2 most weeks ahead of Bell and Stacy.
What a shítty result that was
Atkins done for the season as well
2 of the 3 were Daltons fault, 3rd one was just unfortunate, Sanu should have caught it but knocked it up in the air for an easy pick off.
In fairness he didn't have a bad game, just got punished for his mistakes, overall the Bengals should have won it after coming back and being in complete control, but sadly the coaches curse kicks in with a minute to go, prevent defence and bullshít never seems to stop anyone.
Oh and the safety was harsh really, guy was blocked then suddenly he was on top of him, and it was literally about 2 inches from not being a safety when he got hit.
