The problem is you said they will win, which over 90 minutes they did not.
Why is it only mugs who bet on 90 minutes in a cup match? You do realise the odds are significantly cut if you bet on a team to go through rather than win in 90 minutes.

You gave poor advice.

You may well have meant bet on Spurs to qualify, but you sure didn't specify that it was not over 90 minutes.

I feel you should apologise to anyone who read your advice pre-game.

If you meant Spurs would go through you would have to specify this.I always do that for cup matches, It`s called sensible betting. 90 minute cup games often end in draws. Only mug punters bet over 90 minutes on cup football. I specified they would win, which they did. What`s the problem.
