Robb, you can have a go at SLM all you want but if you're standing by that comment then you're a bona fide lunatic squire.

Thierry Henry: 175 goals in 258 PL games for Arsenal

Louis Saha: 117 CAREER league goals.

What next? Jesper Blomqvist as good as Pires? Djemba-Djemba on a par with Vieira?

I dont rate Saha amongst the top strikers to have played in the Premier League, though i do think he made Utd (especially Rooney) play better.

The start of the 06/07 season his form and contribution to our great start is often overlooked as people think of Ronaldo coming of age, but Saha's partnership with Rooney for those 6 months was awesome. Loved watching them together!

Saha was a brilliant player on his day, comparisons to Henry however, are ridiculous.

That's like saying if it wasn't for injuries Dean Ashton would have been as good as Alan Shearer.

Shearer was sooooooo overrated. Poor mans Macheda.

Oh and dont bring Welbeck to the discussion of two good strikers.
------------------------------------
Not all of us have a "blind" hatred for, Englishman, Danny Welbeck.

IF Welbeck could finish like Chico... or Chico could play football like Welbeck... We'd have one of the best strikers in the league.

Saha had both, he was one of the best strikers in the league, when fit. Hence the comparison.

Try engaging that high IQ that all Indians have.

While I disagree with the Henry thing.... I don't think it is as black and white as you make it. Put simply, we will never know just how good Saha could have been.

I think it would be hard to find anyone who would argue with this statement....

If it weren't for injuries, Owen Hargreaves would have been on of the best CM in the league.

aye, and i bet they were all dancing around their living rooms when he scored that peach of a goal at Swansea.

play the lad as a centre forward and he will score goals. play him on the wing and he won't.

Amazing. I make one comment about Saha being as good as Henry when fit and I come back to the usual suspects being their vile selves.

Lovely. Whether i'm right or wrong it shows just how immature some of the people are on here.

W&R and SLM having a go at people is like Charles Manson calling someone a bad person because they forgot to pay their taxes.

We'll ender know how good Dean Ashton could have been either so it's a like for like comparison.

Henry, along with Ronaldo is the greatest player to grace the PL. The comparison doesn't do Henry justice, and I was one of Saha's biggest fans.

Nearly true, apart from it should read. Henry just behind ronaldo i

You can definitely make a case for Saha being as good as Henry. Then again, I've always thought Ashley Young and Robert Pires were more or less the same player.

Looking at it without club bias, there isn't much to choose between (in their prime):

Valencia - Saha - Young

v

Overmars - Henry - Pires

Horses for courses I guess, the Ronaldo of today is better than Henry by a fair distance IMO, but whilst in the PL i think they made a similar impact. At his best I think Ronnie was he better player, but Henry did it at his best for longer (again, age and the fact Henry was in his prime is a part of that).

Henry was no where near the best player to grace the premier league, always bottled the big games. Bergkamp was by far a better player at arsenal but none are in the same league as scholes, who frankly was the best

Fack off. The only player comparable to Henry is Ronaldo.

Henry was truly truly special.
