I didnt say that I wouldnt prefer Negredo over Giroud though
Listen, I'm not saying Negredo is great creatively because he's not- but he doesn't need to be if he's playing in front of a midfield like Chelsea, Arsenal or City. That's why he'd start over Giroud for me every day of the week, he'd take the chances Giroud misses.
Negredo is class at what he does. A clinical striker.

Negredo is far more clinical than Giroud and that is why he has 9 goals in 20 league appearances this season while Giroud has a mere 9 goals in 19

CEG- I accept that, but Giroud has played nearly 400 more minutes than Negredo.
I like Giroud, but see the chances he has missed, I think Negredo would have done better. Was it Chelsea at home where the chances were few and far between and Giroud got one? I think Negredo is better simply as a clinical striker, but Giroud is more creative. When you have a midfield as creative as Arsenal's I'd be willing to sacrifice creativity in a striker for clinicality.
I say it again. I like Negredo. Good player.
