I don't think United quite have the players for Pellegrini at the mo, he'd have had to buy a few to play his style. Some players would have really thrived under it.
At the same time, there is a big difference motivating top class players and he is certainly showing that, we just seem so much happier as a squad this year.
Can't wait for the Barca game, should be a classic
Got my tickets tonight Paul, can't wait
melton, maybe to get them playing the football Pel is capable of, but I think we'd be playing MUCH better football with him than we have with Moyes.
He's coached some pretty average players in his time and got them playing well in a team playing good football. This is why he's so good, he doesn't need to have a world class squad to play good football.
Are you going to the away leg Melton?
Darren and Robb on about pool fixtures yesterday, went on for about 6 pages
Can't wait for Barca vs City. Glad Aguero and Messi are both fit. The game needs those two fit and firing.
Dave, it was the equivalent of a penalty shootout where each one of my pens was perfectly placed in the top corner but the the goal posts disappeared.

Hopefully we learnt a lot from the thrashing Bayern gave us
Darren, he failed at RM though.
added to your £1000 from last week and £500 for the weekend.
well played
GT, he did get Madrid's highest ever points total and the record for goals scored. Considering it was his first season, Ronaldo's first season as well, and was up against that great Barca side I would hardly call it a failure.
As good as Mourinho is I think Madrid would be a better team if they'd kept Pellegrini.
Bats you ride your luck at the moment.
Trying to Paul, I'm not sure what the loyalty points are and if I can get a ticket yet?
Gunner, to say he failed is really harsh, there were a couple of players he didn't want and he lost to the best team we are ever likely to see.
Yeah admit that RM is a special club. Dont given any time to built up a complete new team. Want to play the best football in the world and win everything each year.

The club thomas cook trips are really well organised
Day trip is £275 + ticket
I can get you a ticket if you need one
I forgot Pell managed Ronaldo for a year
GT
I've said it plenty of times, if Madrid weren't ran by dic.kheads they'd have been dominating Spain and Europe for the last ten years.
Sounds good paul, I'll have a chat with my brother tomorrow and see if he's up for it too, I'm sure he will be!
Going to Millwall v Ipswich today. Holloways first home game.
Not a good omen for the Bristolian, as I also went to Steve Lomas's first home game against Yeovil, which they lost.
Not sure whether to play Whittingham or Gnabry in FF team, or switch to a 4-3-3 with Shaw coming into the back 4.
