Ade has 5 goals in his last 7 appearances. How many does Giroud have in his last 7?
If you judge players only on goals it's up to you. I dont.
Soldado is a quality striker waiting to find his form. Once he does he'll be one of the top strikers in the league.
Giroud started off slowly himself. This season he's found his form, and it turns out his form isn't that great really.
The thing is, you can see Ade actually jumping at the chance to join us
He's too much of a though
"Soldado is a quality striker waiting to find his form. Once he does he'll be one of the top strikers in the league."
Based on what, exactly?
Based on the fact an arsenal striker is in bad form
Giroud has had a much better 1st season than Soldado, and that was a time we didn't create much either

Look at his goals in La Liga and ask yourself if Giroud could replicate that himself. Pretty sure he could not.
Don't think there's a striker in world football is swap for Ade tbqh

La Liga is a completely different proposition to the PL.
You can use the 'Soldado is settling in' excuse as much as you like, but - what - one/two goals from open play in the PL is shocking for a 28 year old £27m striker, no matter which way you player.

OK.
When Ade is motivated he's world class
AVB being a total cant for 18 months has motivated him enough for the last month. Let's hope Sherwood can keep him going
I judge strikers on goals yeah. That's their main aim.
True. A striker is an other field player though. So there is more in it. At least in my view. Giroud is an important asset in our game at least Wenger thinks he is which is the most important thing.

I think he's become a bit rusty after the spell with AVB, where we weren't creating much for him at all. Now we are creating chances and good ones, it's only a matter of time for him.

Sorry that is a terrible excuse. AVB has nothing to do with it.

Sorry but if Arsenal paid that much for a striker I expect them to create chances for themselves,

This is just an excuse for a recent poor strike rate, come on.
It's all about the goals mate.
Soldado got virtually no chances with AVB, the midfield were sat too far back. Confidence shot.

You obviously didn't see us much under AVB then. Soldado had little service most of the time. It was also the reason Defoe never scored under AVB too.
