Biggest mistake Wenger ever made, he would have had him for 55-60m that summer. Arsenal would likely have won the premier league once or twice.

Allthough I am happy with Giroud as an option

I'm quite relaxed about Klopp, once he gets all the forwards back from injury and/or buys new ones that aren't broken, I'm confident he'll be brilliant.

not sure if you can call it a mistake. We had no chance to buy him and didnt make a fuss of it.

I'm a United fan. I was just listing the players they were missing. Tbf Coutinho is a really talented player but is too hit and miss. Has the potential to be brilliant but needs to do it on a consistent basis. Was definitely glad he wasn't fit today in truth

I think Liverpool has a good squad when everyone is available and 100% fit. Missing a bit creativity in midfield at times but overall its a strong team.

Coutinho is much better when he has real striker(s) to pass to

I think he shoots a lot out of frustration at not having options in front of him

We could have bought him with his buyout clause, Neo 40M +1. Like it or not. But Wenger didnt insist of it and we leave out.

It was never clear whether that release clause ever existed GT, it seemed like nonsense to me. Either way if arsenal had bid £55m I'm sure we would have accepted.

It's not a full squad, no one ever has that. we just have most of our injuries in attack. Basically all our strikers other than the one who blatantly doesn't fit our style.

That's why I'm so relaxed about Klopp. He doesn't really have his final 3rd players so when we can't score I won't/can't put the blame on him.

release clause was 100 percent real. Our owner even publicly laughed at it.

The only problem is that it was either written by a 5 year old who didn't understand contracts or someone on our side who wanted it to be unenforceable. It was supposedly the worst clause in the history of contracts and said something like 'if Liverpool receive a bid over 40 mil, then they have to look at it, roll a spliff with it, then smoke it and laugh and laugh and laugh.'
