Btw, I'm not having a go at Benteke in particular, this is just unfortunately where we have got to with football.

The more players just "go down" when they feel contact, the more difficult it become for referees and the more bad decisions we end up getting.

Video technology wouldn't even help in these situations. It would probably end up with 'refs decision', much like in cricket. You wouldn't be able to reverse it as there was undeniable contact.
